Our house can be found in the picturesque village of Vrisnik, at the heart of Hvar. It is located in a quiet and peaceful area, surrounded by pine trees, vineyards and olive trees which scent is combined to create a particular ambience. It is especially suitable for people wanting a calm and relaxing vacation. The apartment is a part of the house. However, it has a seperate entrance and is completely isolated from the rest of the house.
We are a family with 50 years of tradition in tourism. We cultivate vineyards, olive trees and grow our own organic vegetables.
There are two restaurants nearby where you can experience the traditional, exquisite Dalmatian food combined with modern cuisine. You can sample olive oil and famous wine from the island. There are beautiful pebble and sand beaches 5-6 kilometers away, all of them reachable by asphalted roads starting with Vrboska, Jelsa, Zavala or Ivan Dolac which can be reached through a tunnel. Ferry going from Stari Grad to Split is 10km away, or about 10 minutes drive, as well as most beaches. Jelsa is where you can get everything you need. You can find supermarkets, post office, banks, gas stations and the medical center there. Vrisnik is also very suitable for hiking and exploring by bike.
