Neighborhood info

Bol is the biggest settlement on the south side of the island Brač. It is situated at the foot of the island's largest mountain Vidova Gora, surrounded by luxuriant nature and incredible sandy beaches that can be found all along the south side of the shore. By far the most famous gravely beach is Zlatni rat. With its entire length, of approximately 600 meters, it enters the Brač - Hvar Channel playing with the currents and the winds and changing shape in accordance to the wind direction. This natural phenomenon, has attracted and still attracts crowds of tourists since the beginning of organized tourism in Croatia, and has transformed Bol into a premier tourist destination. In addition to a great hotel offer, private accommodation in Bol is of the highest quality with more than 3000 beds. Restaurant offer is also large and diverse, with special emphasis on local specialties. Apart from the excellent restaurant offer there are taverns, pizzerias, nightclubs, cocktail bars and various other facilities for children and teens in Bol.
