It was amazing. The family is very friendly and welcoming! Especially Maria, the grandmother, is very loving. She made us orange juice and gave us figs for breakfast. The accommodation is beautiful and the view is stunning.

Accomodation rented by Musladin family is on island Koločep(5km NW of Dubrovnik.There is a direct boat line to Gornje Čelo(Our village) with boat Europa(berthed across the fish market in Port of Dubrovnik_Gruž).Contact us for a boat schedule, Only 25 minutes by regular ferry boat from Dubrovnik(www.Jadrolinija.hr) or 35 minutes with private taxi direct to the ours place , Kolocep Island is a haven of peace and unspoiled natural beauty. The island is free of cars, surrounded by lush tropical palm, orange and olive trees and the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic. Remote from outside world, Kolocep is a refreshing break from the stress of city life and is devoted to providing you with a relaxing and revitalizing vacation. Kolocep has two small vilages Gornje Celo and Donje Čelo. Old Croatian chapels and churches are scattered everywhere, and the ruins of medieval forts stand on every important stronghold of the island. . You will be intoxicated with the still calm, the scent of the Mediterranean plants and the intensity of the colours of the Adriatic. The beaches are sandy and pebble located in Gornje Čelo Bay. When you come once you have to come back again.You are WELCOME!!!
When you have been here once, you will always want to come back again. Our family lives in a family house on Kolocep Island for over a hundred years. Our ancestors were born here. There are no cars on the island. We have a large olive grove and extra virgin olive oil, eco-vegetables and seasonal fruits. To go to the beach, there is enough armor and bathrobe costume. You have even 2 minutes to the beach. Our rooftop terrace offers a breathtaking view of the bridge in front of Dubrovnik, the entrance to the harbor and the open sea. If you want to go to the other end of the island we offer you a bike and the trail is already over there! My name is Viky. I graduated in Germany, in Stuttgart on the Department of Pedagogy and Linguistics. I work as a pedagogue in Dubrovnik's Childrens Garden. I am also a city guide for German and I speak English. My parents live on the ground floor of a family home and are always at your service. Our family will meet you and greet you, explain you everything there is to know about the house and the island and help you with anything you may need. There are no cars on the island and many locals choose to get around by bicycle. When you arrive by boat you will find bicycles to rent . The small stone souvenir shop, and post office are all located in the port and the locals are all very friendly. Also in the port of Donje Čelo you will find coffe bars, restaurants as well as the one main shop that is well equipped with all necessary ingredients. As you go further along the riviera which stretches from the port around the bay to the Villa Ruža there are lounge bar and luxury restaurant. Feel the morning sun from the early start with a guided sea kayaking tour of Kolocep Island or one of the other Elafiti Islands. See first hand the wonders of the mysterious underwater world, teeming with life, with a snorkelling or scuba diving excursion. Hike the marked trails of Kolocep Island and discover 9th century churches and Napoleon tower.
